The Old Town of Corfu has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2007. The mainly neoclassical architecture, the venetian influences, and the mostly intact fortifications comprise a unique site of extraordinary authenticity and beauty.
The Marina under the Old Fort is where we will make our anchorage.
Easter on Corfu has of course a special character of its own. The east orthodox tradition has been infused with venetian elements to create a unique mix of customs that will amaze you.

Motor yacht Karina begins the private cruise to majestic Corfu from Parga at 10:00am. Our first stop will be Syvota where you can stroll around the traditional and picturesque alleys. Then we continue our cruise for Corfu, the land of the Phaeacians. The Liston Square will be mournfully decorated, but it still retains its splendour and beauty.
On Good Friday in Corfu, 33 āepitaphā processions march through the town, from noon till night. The event is unique and awe-inspiring, a truly unforgettable experience.
During the Holy Saturday we remain in Corfu town to participate in the colourful local traditions of āBotidesā and āMastelaā. At night we participate in the resurrection mass and the spectacular celebrations around the town.
On Easter Sunday we go for a cruise tour to admire the wild beauty of northern Corfu island: The steep rocks with the peculiar geological formations, the secluded beaches with the pebble or sand shores, the scenic traditional villages, the lovely natural springs and many more.
We will visit Agni Beach for swimming and then Kassiopi for lunch. Of course we will visit the Sidari with the erotic Canal DāAmour. After having lunch in Palaiokastritsa we will return to Corfu for the night.
For the last day of your stay on Corfu, we have planned a visit to the famous āAchilleionā, a palace built by the Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as Sisi.
The design of the palace, which was named after the hero Achilles, was intended to represent an ancient Phaeacian palace and it is a monument to platonic romanticism. There you will marvel at the impressive statue of ‘Dying Achilles’ depicting the last moments of the Homeric hero. After being shot by an arrow in his only vulnerable point of his body, his heel, he farewells the world while taking his last breaths in the world of the living.Ā
In the afternoon, we depart for Gaios at Antipaxos to have lunch and afterwards return to Parga.
